Comentario del producto : A-6E US Navy 65 th Attack Escuadrón "Tigers", Carrier Independent, 1972 AG500 / #158531.
The unit was established in November 1945 as the 74 th Raiding Escuadrón (VT-74) equipped with SB2C Herdiver, and changed its name to the second 65 th Attack Escuadrón (VA-65) in July 1959.
The first jet attack aircraft, A-6A, was introduced in March 1965, and changed its model to A-6E in May 1972. The 80 s was sent to the area of Middle East, the 90 s was entered in the Gulf War. It was dismissed in March 1993.
The model was painted orange belt when A-6E was first equipped in 1972. Nose radome was also beige and standard painted in 1970.
