■ Koch bunker : A concrete bunker for a single person manufactured and installed by the German army since 1944.
The name is said to be derived from Erich Koch, a major general leader in East Prusia in the Nazi Party, or from a Kochtopf (cooking pot) due to its shape, but is not certain.
There were a Koch bunker closed in the top and a opening in the ceiling for monitoring and use of artillery mirrors and morteros.
The koch bunker was installed in the OKH B-2 defence line in Paula Lund, area of East Prusia, and G Keops Lead line.
