The Sleeper Limited Express "Sea of Japan" is the last blue train "Sea of Japan" which connects Osaka-Aomori through the Sea of Japan longitudinal line, which operates through Hokuriku, Echigo and Hane Koshiji.
When the schedule was revised in October 1968 (1968), it became part of the sleeper limited express "Sea of Japan".
