Product Explanation ■ The Japanese version of Command Magazine is a specialized simulation game magazine that comes with a supplementary game that follows the special features of each issue.
A simulation game is a game that aims to reproduce and examine historical wars from various angles. It is also called a war game.
It consists of a paper frame (unit) that shows the troops who participated in the battle, a paper map that depicts the battlefield, and a rule book that explains how to play the game.
The supplementary game for this issue is 『 Destroyer Captain 』.
For the specially prepared scenario "Take! Ganbare!", three Sumner-class destroyers and two Matsu-class destroyers have been added.
In fact, the night of the Battle of Ormoc Bay, which can be said to be the last victory of the Japanese Navy, has been reproduced.
In addition, a destroyer of the Spanish Navy, which does not appear in the scenario, has been prepared, so it might be interesting to create a scenario such as "If Franco joins the Axis and joins the war … Assault! Gibraltar".
