Product Description ■ From the Dream Model, this is a new 1/72UH-1Y Venom US Marine General Purpose Helicopter.
The UH-1Y is a modernized version of the UH-1N Twin Huey, which had been worn for 30 years since its first flight.
In addition to the foldable blade that can be mounted on amphibious assault ships, the UH-1Y has been given various new capabilities such as a new transmission, anti-electromagnetic capability, measures against salt damage and a new optical sensor, and installation of two T700-GE401C engines.
Compared with the UH-1N, the speed and installation capability have been increased.
The first flight of the UH-1Y was made in December 2001. Due to the design changes of the AH-1Z, which uses common components, it will be deployed from 2009.
The kit includes full interior specifications, armed parts, traction bars, rotor fixing clasps (for folding on board), etching parts and 3 types of Marine Decals.
