[Review of CD record]
[Comments on CD record]
There are 6 kinds of recordings including the video, but this is the first stereo recording, and basically there is no big difference from the later performances. It is beautiful and dramatic with a lot of legato. It is a good uplifting. This way of putting Omagari together is very good. It is reproduced in good condition and does not feel old.
[New CD record]
"German Requiem" from the mid-60s, when the Karajan & Berlin Philharmonic had created the best combination. The heavy and excellent performance is revived with original = image = bit = processing.
