ボヘミア出身のドビアーシュ(1909 1978)の作品が国内盤で出るのはおそらく初めてだろうが、これは親しみやすい室内楽曲である。1920年代設立のチェコ九重奏団の演奏により、その素朴な情感が味わい深く表出されている。郷愁を誘う作品であり演奏である。
