[Comments on CD-Audition]
He has played and recorded Bach from time to time. With a clean soul, devoid of all embellishments, and facing Bach in a straight line, a pure performance was born. Of course, he must have had a long study and deep thought. An excellent performance by modern piano.
[Comments on CD-Notes]
This is the first time in a long time that Yuji Takahashi, who is a state-of-the-art modern composer and an excellent pianist, has created an attractive Bach with sharpness and lyricism, a definite style and stimulating modernity, and a re-construction of the composer's eyes.
