Comments on CD audition notes]
This is the first album in about 40 years by The Sonic from Tacoma, Washington, which has already been active since around 61. They are the founders of 60's Garage Punk along with Kingsmen, Paul Revere & Raiders, but their hard and aggressive style still exists. This is a cool performance that can be said to be the origin of punk! ★
