[Author's Brief history]
Kanekomaki
Born in Saitama Prefecture.
Graduated from the Department of Portuguese Linguistics, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Sophia University.
While teaching fine arts at the painting school Carnose, he also studied creating picture books at the Kirter Space Picture Book Study Group and Atsakijuku. Up to the present, he has been a picture book writer at the Kirter Space Picture Book Study Group and Atsakijuku.
With the 2017 Best Pinpoint Picture Book Competition as an opportunity, he made his debut as a picture book writer in 2019 at 『 chan no ma no Ozabuton 』 (Alicekan).
『 Menbo 』 (Alicekan) published in 2021 won the 6th Miraiya Ehon Grand Prize
