Railway
[Introduction to Contents]
This is a collection of photographs of the Sagami Railway that takes a distant view of the mountains of Tanzawa and goes from the west exit of Yokohama to Sagamino where the fields still remain!
The predecessor of the current Sagami Railway is the "Kanchu Railway". It was absorbed by the current JR Sagami Line (then Sagami Railway) during the war, and it was entrusted to Tokyu Corporation just before the war ended. It developed along the line and improved the facilities, and it grew to be a part of the high-speed suburban railway network in the southwestern part of the Tokyo Metropolitan area.
This is a collection of photographs filled with photographs of nostalgic trains and station buildings of the Sagami Railway that made a further breakthrough with the opening of the Shin-Yokohama Line!
